men care about what women think and women care about what OTHER WOMEN think.
most men want to attract females, they want to impress them in regular terms. so they make crazy money and smell crazy good and brag. the last thing on the guys mind is what the other men think.
women on the other hand care alot about being judged by other women. when we go out to the club its mostly about looking better than the next chick, or "standing out". i personally think like a dude. i can understand wanting to be the best, but really in a world as big as ours, theres bound to be someone just as good, if not better than you.

I personally didn't know that about women, but it's very interesting. In life there will be always someone who is better, worse, prettier, ugly, etc than us. It's a waste of time trying to stand out.
